I don’t think Kyle ever meant to save my life, not after he ended his. I was wandering the aisles of the grocery Thursday, just like I had been doing every third Thursday for the past year. To be perfectly honest, it was a worthless ritual. Me drifting around aimlessly in the produce section didn’t help with the depression, or the fact that my ADHD-induced headache was making my brain explode, metaphorically.
